Open Season on Cancer was a labor of love for founder Tom Christensen. Prior to his passing in 2018, Tom dedicated time and resources to the creation of a program that would benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield and the families served. His legacy is carried on by his friends and co-workers at Cost Cutters and Kevin “Krauty” Krautkramer who continue the work Tom began. Since its inception, Open Season on Cancer has raised more than $76,000 for families with hospitalized children, allowing their stay to be completely free, no matter than length or diagnosis.
Special thanks to Cost Cutters for their time and effort coordinating this program!
